They say there is no party like a Balkan party, and well, they are right! But it would not be fair to try to define DioBar like that, since it is so much more. It started out as a small project in the basement of their restaurant and now it is a well-known stage that hosts musicians from all over the world.
It is located in a very central location, right in front of Ciutadella park. The entrance is through the restaurant, so it's not an easy place to spot. By the way, I really recommend a stop at the restaurant since the food is delicious. You can order food downstairs also, but you will be more inspired to drink there.
They host different events almost every day and the parties do not start before at least 23:00. Wednesdays are Tango nights, Thursdays are jam sessions and Fridays are dedicated to Latin music. On Saturdays, they have "World Stage", where they invite artists from different countries to promote their music.
So basically all you have to do is pick which night you prefer and you are guaranteed it's going to be a good one.
