Fantastik really honours its name. It's fantastic! You will not find any other shop in Barcelona with such a colourful collection as this one. Walk in here and you simply don't know where to start!
The shop caught my eye for the colorful Mexican home decoration they have in store. Piñatas are hanging on the ceiling, in the back you find a Mexican altar and you can buy the kitsch candles, bright colored skulls or Maria ornaments. On the shelves it even offers some cheeky small toys. But my all time favourites are the little wallets made from the bright colored plastic canvas. Or even better, buy the canvas per meter and use it as a table cloth on your terrace table!
Apart from the Mexican collection, they also sell home decoration accessories from Japan, India, Senegal and some other corners of the world. One thing is sure; it's bright, it's colourful and it is kitsch! The collection is not for the faint hearted, but if you like to add a bit of colour to your house; go and have a look! When I go here I am sure to find either something cheeky and original for my house or the perfect funny gift for a friend!
