When exposing yourself to the Mediterranean sun, sea and heath, you might need to give yourself a little bit of extra care to protect your hair and skin from the summery elements. I find one of the best shops to spoil yourself with some luxurious hair products is Henna Morena. The brand only works with natural products, obviously based on henna. But they are also enriched with other typical Mediterranean ingredients like olive oil, lavender and jasmine.
The vision of the brand is 'slow cosmetics' and that calmness really is transmitted in this beautiful designed shop. The staff will be more than happy to explain all the ingredients and what it will do for your hair. They really take their time, even when you just have a look or, like me, smell that sunny scent in several of the different products. It is even possible to book a henna hair treatment there, if you really need some time to relax!
Every time I walk in there it is hard to resist and not to buy a stash of hair masks or special shampoos. Not only for the heavenly 'holiday' smell each one of them has, but also because of the pretty packaging that brings the Mediterranean right into your bathroom at home!
