Colorful! If I could describe Hey Shop in one word I would say "colorful." It is a design and decoration shop owned by a girl who's very talented with colors and forms. And how did I discover it? It's because it serves specialty coffee shop from a roaster from Madrid in a beautiful vivid yellow La Marzocco coffee machine, nicknamed Marylin Monroe by its owner.
Veronica draws the forms and applies them on many different products, such as ecobags, sweaters, wall frame illustrations, ceramic cups, and much more. She also has Hey Shop Studio, which has many collaborations in product designs such as the craft beer of Caravelle Restaurant - another must-go place in BCN.
As you enter the shop, or even from outside the fullness of colors gets your attention and the very great conceived geometric designs are mind-blowing. It is hard to leave this place without buying something inside. Recently they have launched a new packaging identity of their collab coffee with Hola Coffee from Madrid and I am looking forward to buying a bag from them.
It's a great place to buy something from Barcelona, even a fridge magnet to take back home! And in the meantime tasting a great specialty coffee espresso extracted right on the spot!
