There are more and more healthy and vegetarian options in Barcelona. However, many of them are still overpriced and that makes it difficult to go to this kind of restaurants often. Honest Greens opened recently in the very centre of Barcelona and I love it because it offers healthy, innovative, tasty dishes at really affordable prices.
Products are without preservatives and additives and are bought from local producers that use sustainable methods.
The concept of Honest Greens is that you design your dish choosing the protein base (chicken, beef, tuna, falafel…), the dressing and the dish sides, which are mainly veggies and seasonal plant-based ingredients. I mean it when I say that all the options on the menu are really good. Usually, I go for the so-called Market Plate (which is served with mixed greens and sourdough seed bread) with the White Tuna Tataki. The Ginger Goat Cheese Crunch Bowl is also pretty amazing!
I also love the drink options, as there is a flavoured water and infusions bar where you can refill for just 2.50€.
