I never thought I would eat Nepalese food. It is not very common to find, and Lasun is one of the only restaurants that serve traditional Nepalese food in town. The offer is great and the dishes come with their respective explanations.
The attention by the owner was perfect. Kind and gentle, we felt very comfortable inside the nicely decorated restaurant with flags, historical Nepalese items, and charming lamps. Regarding the food, we were asked in the beginning if we wanted to share everything, and this was a good idea because we were able to order many dishes so we could taste as many as we could.
We ordered 3 entrees, one of them was a kind of peanut ceviche, very interesting, and potatoes with Nepalese seasoning (very tasty). Finally: their flavourful momos that resemble gyoza. As for the main dishes, we ordered delicious noodles and a bowl of duck rice (my favorite).
For dessert, we ordered a coconut and mango pudding: very fresh and with a nice ore leaf on the top of it!
Super great experience and we will have to go back to taste more typical Nepalese dishes or their tasting menu!
