Turris is a bakery known by every Barceloní and Barcelonina, as they have bakeries spread all around the city. If you are crazy about bread, you will feel like heaven, as there around 25 types: classic, with cereals, with walnuts, seasonal ones (Spring, Winter….), and with many other flavours like cheese or olives. Everything baked and fresh every day.
Usually, the staff is very nice and friendly, so sometimes if I am confused and want to try something new, they're always helpful and explain each product and suggest what I should try next.
My favourite breads for special occasions are the walnut and the olives ones. They are great to eat with cheese, salmon or just to dip in hummus or any other sauce.
If you are into cakes, then you must really try their homemade carrot cake and the cheese cake! I buy them every time I’m invited to someone’s place and it always ends up being a success.
