I have a list of favorite ice cream stores in Lebanon, and Le Flocon has recently made it onto that list. I've been meaning to visit this ice cream store for quite some time after seeing it flourish on Instagram, and ironically have only managed to do so on a rainy day - after that, I went a few more times.
The display of ice cream they have is endless, with sorbet flavors, flavors infused with alcohol, and creamy flavors. Their sorbets are true to taste and not artificial. They also serve different kinds of pastries and cakes and have ice cream gallons to take home.
Located on a main street in Ashrafieh, Le Flocon might look like the kind of place that the Queen might buy her tarte au fraise from, but it's actually a definite must-add to your list. If you're planning on spending a day in Ashrafieh, make sure you check out the Cantina Sociale article and visit it for some coffee or bites, and end it with ice cream at Le Flocon!
