If you love spotting the different types of calligraffiti artworks around Beirut, you will most certainly love discovering this one.
This mural located in Hamra close to b-hive's coffee shop, so you cannot pass by the neighborhood and not give it your gaze while trying to understand what it stands for, with its red background and beautifully applied white calligraphy - this piece shows strength and resilience. It is an artwork of the lyrics from "My Loves" by the famous Lebanese singer Julia Butrus. The lyrics can be translated thus: "We will build better tomorrows with you, we will walk with you, we will be victorious."
This artwork was laid out on a 35m high building by "Belal Khaled" a passionate Palestinian artist, Belal's work always holds a message and this mural is just an example of that, trying to show the importance of graffiti as an artistic way to deliver a message to a larger audience, by bringing important topics to the viewer in a tolerable artistic way to the human's eye and mind that leads this observer into curiosity and awareness.
