"Basta" is a traditional working-class neighbourhood close to the centre of Beirut, full of unique architecture, and antique furniture shops...

"Second Base" is a thrift-concept store in Beirut invented by FabricAID. They sell vintage, hipster revealing, extroverted clothing items...

They have a full menu of food you can order from, be it a snack, a sandwich, or a dessert. And if you are really hungry, you can opt for their daily meal.

Some personal favorites are the hot Saj, locally produced peanut butter, jams, and other snacks such as Carob flavored cookies and of course, fresh fruits. It gets crowded, items run out fast so hurry up!
