Snoubar Bayrout Bookshop has been open since 2019. It's the go-to bookstore for books and magazines written by local authors.
Their bright yellow door will be the hint when trying to find it, and whenever you step your foot inside you'll be sent to the world of literature. The owner is a passionate cultural/political/historical book reader, and having a conversation with her will make your day.
Snoubar Bayrout Bookshop sells local Lebanese art books and Arabic Literature as well. They have recently added a section for children's books that are all written in the Arabic language as well! You will find old movie posters, notebooks, and calendars made by Lebanese initiatives and individuals here.
They don't only sell books, but magazines, movies, and music albums as well! You won't regret getting lost for hours in there.
