A new coffee place has just recently opened in town, and although I’ve only visited once, I am sure it is a place I will return to.
Passing by this place, which I had never heard of before, I was drawn inside by its great industrial/minimalist interior. The combination of concrete, wood, and bricks caught my eye, and I had to go in and check it out. It is a self-service, non-smoking place where you can get very nice, high-quality coffee. They also serve breakfast, which I haven’t tried yet, but it looks delicious from what I saw. Although I haven’t tried the breakfast, I did have a carrot cake, one of the few cakes they offer, and it went great with my coffee.
This coffee spot is divided into laptop and laptop-free areas. I used the opportunity and sat at the laptop area to use my time there and finish some tasks. I was surrounded by other people doing the same. It’s a concept I haven’t encountered before in Belgrade, and I find it interesting and, in a way, quite logical. So, I will be going back to this place—sometimes to the laptop-free part with a friend, and sometimes to the other part with my laptop to enjoy nice interior and a good coffee.
