Only a couple of years after I had moved to the area, I discovered O-Slow, a hidden restaurant near Osloer Straße. When I finally stepped inside with my friends, we found ourselves in the most warm and welcoming space. Surprisingly, there is another hidden room in the back with an additional cosy seating area and unique features, like a wash basin in the dining area. This quirky addition adds to the restaurant's charm and creates an ambience unlike any other.
O-Slow’s owners have created a dining experience that transcends borders, blending the best of Japanese and Lebanese cuisines into a harmonious fusion. What sets this restaurant apart is its ever-evolving menu, curated with meticulous attention to detail and inspired creativity. Each day brings a new culinary adventure, with simple dishes ranging from delicate bowls to hearty wraps, all beautifully presented.
With a single dish on the menu every day, veggie-friendly and often entirely vegan, O-Slow makes it easy to choose. So, whether you're a foodie seeking new flavours or simply looking for a different sort of dining experience, O-Slow invites you to indulge in its culinary delights. I recommend a glass of delicious plum wine.

I am a big fan of their pistachio maritozzo which is a soft Roman bun filled with cream and topped with crushed pistachios. It's absolutely amazing, and not overwhelmingly sweet.
