Blocks are huge in most neighborhoods here, that’s why the inner yard is like an island filled with surprises you wouldn’t expect by walking on the surrounding streets. The Rosenhöfe is no exception.
Away from the hustle and bustle of Mitte, you enter a lush and leafy world, full of bistros, romantic corners to steal a kiss, and cute (but expensive!) shops. In the midst of all that magic, you will find Capvin, an oasis that seems to have been teleported all the way from Naples. And not only because of the decoration and atmosphere of the place but also because you can only pay by card! Which, with all the racket of most bars and restaurants only accepting cash payments, is a cock’s tooth in Berlin!
Since there were not many vegan alternatives on the menu, I went for the bruschettas and a cup of an amazing Primitivo di Salento red wine. But the pizzas looked tempting!
