There are only a few bars as charming as the Lieblings Café Bar in the heart of the old town in Bern. By the way, "Lieblings" means "favorite".
The small vaulted cellar offers space for a tiny bar, a few tables, chairs and a large repertoire of parlour games. Isn't that cool? While you wait for your nice apéro platter or just want to spend some time with your friends, you can play a game. Shh, there are even old Gameboys!
As already mentioned, you can order an apéro platter with cheese, meat, bread and various sauces. Very tasty! In addition, I usually order an aromatic IPA. The waiters are very friendly, which I appreciate very much.
The small but lovely location offers not only snacks and drinks but also a wide range of cultural events. Many musicians make their way to the cellar of Lieblings Café Bar and fill it with harmonious sounds. The concerts are always very intimate and personal. I like it!
So, if you fancy a glass of wine in a cute, little bar in Bern's old town, Lieblings Café Bar is the place for you!
