There are several docks along the Charles River Esplanade, but this one, near the Mass Ave Bridge, is my favorite. It's never crowded, very peaceful, and my go-to place to escape the bustle of Boston for a little while and feel a little bit closer to nature. Whenever I need some quiet time, I head down here with a good book to read while enjoying the breeze and sounds of lapping water. It's also a great place for photos, as it has a lovely view of the Charles and the Cambridge skyline.
It's also a good place to spend a relaxing afternoon with friends. I often head down here with a few people to soak up the sunshine and chat. Since it's on the water, there's always a nice breeze, and plenty of water Pokémon around for any Pokémon Go players. Now that it's cooling down, it's a great place to enjoy the autumn breezes and relax with friends, a great view, and fall foliage.
