If you're looking for a safe haven where you can hear yourself think and relax, this is it. Extra large coffee and delicious pastries will keep you warm and comfortable while the many plants and pots on display (also for sale!) calm your soul and tickle your brain just enough to put anything that happened during the day into perspective.
In mild weather, take your drink through to the rear terrace, with its rustic pallets and (you guessed it) plants offering a welcome respite from the urban jungle outside. I like to go there for lunch: the soup of the day and the sandwiches are fantastic. I also enjoy browsing through the shop and its cute pots - perfect for presents or for your own home!
As a bonus, you can practice your Dutch with the owner who, judging by the funny tags on each plant, has a good sense of humor (my favorite: 'ha ha ha ha I will survive' tagged to a particularly resilient plant!).
