Co-working places have become commonplace in Brussels in recent years. For me, the most fascinating building and the most beautiful in terms of interior design is Forsbury and Sons in Boitsfort. Boitsfort, located in the southeast of Brussels and adjacent to the Sonian Forest, is known as one of the quietest areas in Brussels. You get more of a village feeling here than a city feeling.
Along chaussée de la Hulpe, which connects Uccle with Boitsfort via the Bois de la Cambre Wood, there are a number of older office buildings. In one of these office buildings, Forsbury and Sons has moved in with the first of three Brussels offices.
This architectural landmark by Mr Constantin Brodzki, completed in 1970 and better known as the CBR building, is characterised by its white concrete walls with large oval windows.
This remarkable building is worth seeing inside and out. On the ground floor, in addition to offices and open workshops, there is also a restaurant where you can have lunch or enjoy a coffee.
Events are often organised here in the lobby after 6pm as well as on weekends. Exhibitions, pop-up stores, cocktail parties - there is always something going on here.
