"Alt Shift" is special. It is the only place I know in the city which shifts to a night menu at midnight. This means that it's open long after midnight and this is another reason to love the place.
Alt Shift opened in September 2014 and it is clearly among the coolest places in Bucharest. Besides being cool, the food is very good. More than that, the desserts they serve are amazing; obviously I'm passionate about sweets but even so, I assure you it is worth it.
They also own another place which is called "Shift" and they just replicated success.
I very much like the design of it. Simple, clean, with small intriguing details.
Coming back to the food, so far I haven't had anything not to like. I recommend all of it and focus on chocolate dessert. You can book a table (I recommend booking in advance), enjoy dinner and afterwards go downstairs to Control Club (check the Control Club article).
