After you have already tasted some Romanian dishes and you want to try something else, here is an interesting choice: Belli Siciliani. Italian cuisine is very popular in Bucharest and there are many restaurants you can have pizza or pasta. But Belli Siciliani is a must-try, because it is very different from other options.
First of all, the restaurant is very colorful - tables with citrus fruits, plates with vivid color patterns, walls covered in illustrations and maps of Sicily. In this merry atmosphere, you can enjoy a glass of wine or an Aranciata drink and some good comfort food. Oh, the food! I have to warn you, the menu is way too generous and it may take you some time to decide what to eat.
The burrata with olive oil, tomatoes and focaccia is really delicious, the cannoli and tiramisu are pretty great, also there are some interesting options for pizza, fresh pasta and risotto.
Cash only.
Check out their Facebook page to see some photos of the dishes.
