Merryland Park recently reopened after undergoing some renovations which made it able to regain some of its past glory.
For everyone living in Heliopolis, Merryland park was a place of great memories which had been left to suffer the deterioration of its scenery due to negligence, but after its renewal, I can say the park is able to redeem itself once again.
When I want to have a peaceful morning, I may walk into this park and sit under a tree, maybe read a book or watch the different types of birds there. My favorite are the hoopoes (my dad used to tell me that hoopoes only exist in places where there’s peace), it’s also a great place to take a walk with a friend and discover the different types of trees and flowers there and/or have a picnic.
Merryland park is not fully renovated yet but it’s still open for visitation and it’s still worth the visit.
