While walking around downtown streets as you should do whenever in Cairo, at some point you will feel tired and thirsty, then comes this Qahwa across your sight, the one in the side of el Tahrir square, the iconic square of the city.
A cozy indoor café with a panoramic view of Tahrir square with its new renovations and the Egyptian museum by the side, the café was established in the early '60s and is now more than half a century old. It's unique of its kind in el Tahrir with such a view. The owner comes from upper Egypt, Aswan to Cairo, who you may meet there if you're lucky. He keeps the decorations as it was when he started back then to give you the taste of history with each sip of tea, and that's what make it unique than any other café in the area.
I assure you will enjoy each second in it, especially with a cup of red tea, And who knows - I may be there too!
