Want to get involved in the real Egyptian community? Just go for a walk around Roxy square.
The 100-year-old buildings of Al Korba with the modernized Islamic architecture have turned into a big market full of local products and clothes with the cheapest prices in the city (and some local street food along the street).
It’s just the perfect place for me to go for a walk and never get bored -- the cheerful lights, the sound of the sellers and the smell of good food carried from the wind... It's such a perfect atmosphere to get to know more about my culture. And to know some good people.
Every time it feels like my first time, I never see the same thing twice. It’s always different; the people, the smell and the weather.
It’s better to go at night to avoid the sun and the hot weather, also to see some cool lights.
