Imagine running around a busy city, full of horns and jammed with faces you would barely recognize from the crowd. Thankfully, Windsor Hotel bar and restaurant is like a calm, nice spot amidst the busy-ness of Downtown.
I was approaching the table I always choose to sit at, only to find that it had been reserved for the hotel owner, who was coming in a while. So I sat at the table next to it. Ten minutes later, Mr Wasfi Doss arrived at his table with his non-alcoholic drink and a bag of chips. We had both taken the same route walking there from the movie theatre, so we chatted over Nadine Labaki’s latest movie andshared our amazement with it.
One of the main highlights of this place is how isolated it is yet in the middle of all the action you would not want to miss. There are distant whispers and mumbling over one of Mireille Mathieu’s songs.
I’m so grateful for the day I walked into this place and went home feeling comfortable and at ease.
