If you're looking for a relaxing and chilled place with a comfortable and down-to-earth homelike atmosphere, Bastard Café is a very good place to go. Bastard Café is located in a backyard of Rådshusstræde in Copenhagen's centre. It is part of a cultural place called Huset. (Check the Huset-KBH article.)
In Bastard Café you can play board games of any kind and sort. There is a huge selection and you will never fail to find something to your taste. So, a wide range of free games is to be found but you can even pay to become a member and get an even larger selection.
Besides playing board games and having fun with friends you can also go to the bar and order coffee, beer, snacks and even food such as fries, nachos and enormous toasts. What I really like is the tea selection at Bastard Café; Mon - Fri from 14:00 - 17:00 they offer half price for students.
A wonderful place to go and hang out and play some board games.
