Whenever I'm in the mood for a good falafel, I always have to cross half Copenhagen to Nørrebro to find one. That's no problem of course, when you really like the taste and spices of the Middle East.
My old favorite spot has changed a lot though, so I'd been without any good spots for a while... until my girlfriend brought a takeaway box on our date. I instantly realized that I had to go meet Sappa and his falafel joint - Falafel Factory. A friendly dude who decided to open his own place in 2016 and actually won the title of being the best falafel in town.
Falafel is not the only thing on the menu, but everything in the shop is vegetarian/vegan. It's all homemade, fresh and super tasty!
Buy the big package and try all the variations of falafel he has to offer... it's delicious.
I can't wait to bike my way through the city once again to hang out on the street with my mouth full of falafel, hummus, spices and delicious pita bread.
