If you're walking around in Copenhagen, looking for a late-night gig in a bar cool enough to attract some of the best blues/rock bands, then there is really only one choice: go to Mojo!
A truly perfect old-school funky blues bar with an attitude; a venue that's been around since forever and still going strong; Mojo will play you every related genre of blues there is, and they are open every day of the week!
The bar is great and fair with the prices. It has everything you need for a blues rock concert and second-day hangovers.
Read the calendar on the posters outside (or follow their Facebook page) and be sure to be there in good time, especially if you are lucky enough to catch one of the most popular gigs. There will be a battle for chairs inside since the venue is quite small.
Sometimes you need to book in advance at their mail address: mojo@mojo.dk
There are good reasons to visit the other bars and restaurants close by, too. The area here has everything from restaurants, world-class cocktail bars, a lively hostel to an awesome community cultural institution (another great spot to visit: Huset-KBH), so you can easily spend half a day in this city corner alone.
