If you feel like trying something a little different, I recommend you visit House of Salt.
On the menu, you’ll find an infrared sauna where you’ll get your own private sauna box (like the one in the picture) – or book the double and bring a friend. You can also try halo/salt therapy</strong>; a room full of salt and tiny salt particles infusing the air, allegedly benefitting your respiratory system. It’s important to mention that this is not a medical treatment, just a lovely and interesting wellness experience. Another offering is Hydrogen inhalation, and/or you can have a hydrogen-enriched glass of water. There’s also a massage therapist in the house. I like the combination of infrared sauna followed by halo therapy, but you can mix and match according to your desire.
You do need to book in advance if you want to be sure there’s availability. You can either book a single session, or there are different deals and plans available through the website.
The entire area is full of cozy cafés and a great variety of little shops. You’ll also be right next to the lakes, so House of Salt might be a convenient wellness break in the middle of your venturing around the city.
