In a relatively quiet part of the hip Norrebro district lies a place that perfectly embodies Copenhagen's culture — making you feel at home regardless of your background — Paloma Vermuteria. A small cafe and bar, which, just like its name suggests, specializes in vermouth. They have a carefully curated selection, which rotates seasonally, with delicious options from Spain, Italy and Portugal. However, the staples on the menu are their own creations — the indulgent Paloma original vermouth, the bittersweet coffee vermouth, and the mild and intricate coconut vermouth - all of which are a joy for the senses.
Nonetheless, vermouth is not all Paloma can offer, as they have a selection of local craft beers on tap, meticulously made cocktails both with and without vermouth, along with great choices of wines and non-alcoholic drinks. They even make their own mulled wine when Christmas time approaches. And in case you need something to nibble on beside your drink, they have you covered. They serve reasonably priced snacks, such as hummus plates, walnut sausage, sardines with pico de gallo, and many more.
Whether it is a warm sunny day when you would be lucky to get a table outside on a cozy December evening when you can relax in the small indoor area while playing domino or just interacting with all the easygoing people sitting around you, Paloma will always make you feel like you belong, regardless of who you are or where you come from.
