I know that when I am having a bad morning, or it is raining outside and I want to cheer up I can come here and munch on amazing pastry and have amazing coffee - it puts me in a good mood just smelling all the warm cream and chocolate. They are really well prepared and open all day from early breakfast to dinner. You can also order in with delivery service they have!
Their main idea is to have quality always and in every sweet or plate. In the carnival period they make the real schiacciata alla fiorentina, a typical Florentine sweet only made in that period. They also make the zuccotto, another amazing Florentine specialty made with ice cream and cake. I always go for a special treat or a mix of biscuits or some handmade chocolates, and for breakfast the true "paste", that means croissants in Florentine, are a must, but don't eat them after breakfast, they are just for the morning, don't ask me why, it is just a tradition!
