This little underground club is an institution in the Florentine night.
It might be called Jazz Club, but there’s room for any kind of music! During the weekend it’s incredibly crowded, you can see lots of people waiting their turn on the pavement outside. However, during working days it’s a relaxing and intimate club with soft lights, where you can find funny bartenders who know their business when it comes to cocktails! I’m a Long Island Ice Tea fan, and I can safely say I have found one of my favourites here!
The entrance is quite hard to find if you don’t know where to look, lost in the labyrinth that are Florence’s streets. Once you find the heavy iron door you are supposed to ring the bell, some big men will come to ask if you have a membership card, but don’t worry! You can get one there on the spot for € 6 and the first drink is free!
The biggest advantage of Jazz Club are the opening times. On the weekend it opens at 23:00 and closes at 04:00! So you can lull yourself with the blues jam sessions on Tuesday, the jazz on Wednesday, rock out on Fridays and let yourself be surprised by the random music the remaining other days.
Remember that when the city is asleep, the Jazz Club is just waking up!
