Their main idea is to have quality always and in every sweet or plate. In the carnival period they make the real schiacciata alla fiorentina, a typical Florentine sweet only made in that period. They also make the zuccotto, another amazing Florentine specialty made with ice cream and cake. I always go for a special treat or a mix of biscuits or some handmade chocolates, and for breakfast the true “paste”, that means croissants in Florentine, are a must, but don’t eat them after breakfast, they are just for the morning, don’t ask me why, it is just a tradition!
