Everyone that comes to Florence wants to eat a good Florentine steak! In the Winter it is even the best time to have one! For years there have existed the 5 best places, the 10 best places etc... But instead of just thinking about the food, how about the whole experience? At Da Tito it feels like you are going to grandma's house where the staff treats you like a friend and really teaches you how to eat like a Tuscan! No cappuccino with your meal here, and they will even scream or say bad words, but don't worry they are just joking and having a good time.
The menu is typical and you can eat a great pappa al pomodoro, ossobuco and many types of different meats that are from the area. When you have a Florentine steak, remember that you are paying by the weight and not a fixed price, so be ready to spend a little more but it is worth it: the prices are really good for being in the center of the city, it's a hidden gem! Always reserve in advance! Get ready for a lot of noise, a good time and great food!
