If you like your clubs small and intimate with a very friendly crowd, the Berkeley Suite is the very place for you. It's in Charing Cross in the city centre and is disguised as a pawnbrokers, but the queues outside on the weekend give it away. Get there near to 23:00 when it opens to make sure you get in. It's about 200 capacity. Have a drink upstairs in the pretty bar or head straight downstairs in amongst it for a dance. It's a mixed crowd of all ages and they really are super friendly. I have many happy memories of gie'n it laldy (having a good time) at Supermax nights.
They have dance music - a good dose of disco - at the weekend with local and international DJs. On Thursday's it's the Walk and Skank reggae night. Check the website to see who's playing. Entry from £6 - £8.
