Andina Coffee – A slice of Colombia

During one of my many walks around Dennistoun (East End of Glasgow), I discovered my new favourite coffee spot!

Andina Coffee makes the best coffee (I’m Italian and I have high coffee standards, so trust me on this one) in Glasgow! Due to lockdown restrictions in Glasgow, you can only take your coffee and snacks to-go. And if you’re lucky you’ll also be able to meet the two resident doggos, Mia and Blue, which are usually chilling or napping inside the shop.

The coffee tastes amazing and you can literally taste Colombia at every sip. Their selection of cakes is amazing and every Wednesday they stock up on fresh bread and pastries from a local artisan bakery.

What makes this spot so special is that the coffee beans travel all the way from Colombia and they are the result of the hard work of many coffee farmers working in small farms where they are provided with fair working conditions.

I can’t wait for the lockdown restrictions to be over so I can finally visit this spot in person and fully enjoy its Colombian vibes. The staff are super friendly and the ambience is great. It’s the perfect spot to chill while reading a book or taking a break from exploring the surrounding area!

P.S. Make sure to check their Instagram page for the latest updates and food orders!
