"Meyhane" is a special word in Turkish which we use for places like Inciraltı. They are classic for a typical Turkish night out. It's located in Beylerbeyi neighborhood which has a very historical background, close to Bosphorus and just under the 1st Bosphorus bridge. After a long night, taking a deep breath and a short walk along the coast is priceless.
Inciraltı is an ideal place for a classic Turkish night out with its intimate atmosphere. I generally go there with my friends for long chat sessions to share our stories. Besides the cozy inner areas they also have a winter garden.
I usually prefer the sea bass or Inciralti special meat balls as the main course besides some Turkish Raki. Also their cold and hot appetizers (in Turkish we called "meze") are very delicious before the main course.
