Closer club is situated in my favorite district Podil that I was telling you about in my Beer on line and Tatarka reviews. (Check the Beer on Line and the Tatarka Hill article). After the closing of iconic night club Xlib, this is the next best thing.
But this is more than a night club. This is a complex of different spaces in the premises of an old factory. Music concerts and parties, fashion shows and art exhibitions, fitness workouts and different festivals, cinemas and lectures are going on here 24/7. Everything that a youngster needs. Several stages, bars, pop up street food spots an open air territory, etc.
I usually hang out upstairs in the attic. This is called Mezzanine and is run by a friend of mine, a talented musician and soon to be a new Kyiv spotter Sergii Kulyk. There is a stage, a bar and comfy sac chairs. Lots of good local music bands have gigs there. I love Indie music and good company. This is what you can find here at weekends.
