My personal favourite viewpoint of Alcantara. One of the very first memorable views of Lisbon port and bridge back from the time when I didn't even live here. I find the cranes of Lisboa port quite majestic and hypnotic. It has a completely different atmosphere in every weather, it can be gloomy, foggy, or glistening in the sun. Where the sky is clear, you can even see the sculpture of Jesus on the other side of the river. It's quite impressive.
There is a small park where you can rest and grab a drink or have a snack after the walk along the river. Furthermore, you can continue to wander around the old streets of Alcantara and finish your walk with a lavish lunch in Ruvida.
