"TATI" (former/aka "Café Tati") is a bar and restaurant located in the Penha de França neighbourhood where you will find delicious food and varied options of natural wine.
It is kind of a bistrot, but actually, it is a very cool place both for having dinner indoors or simply having a drink or a snack outdoors at the end of the day. The menu is very creative and they offer everything from empanadas and bread with chorizo to more elaborated dishes with complex flavours. The menu is constantly changing (weekly) but I have my favorites. When available, the cod rice with katsuobushi is incredible. And for dessert, the chocolate mousse is simply divine.
You can really feel that they are connected to the neighbourhood and to the local producers. Natural wine and natural food are really their flagships. I guess I can say that it has its touch of Portuguese culture, but is also a very international place where you will notice other European influences (especially French).
