Located in the beautiful National Theater Building, this cafe is a true gem. A bit further away, really just a tiny bit away from the most typical touristic routes in Ljubljana, it offers a nice option to drink your coffee or tea peacefully. But don't be surprised if you hear the English or even Czech languages there, as the crowd there can get quite international. You can't miss the building, SNG Drama in Slovenian, as it is very monumental
Actually, it's one of my favorite buildings of Art Nouveau style in Ljubljana, with its calming green colour and cute curvy entrance. When you enter through the main door, below the balcony, turn to the right and follow the staircase to the 1st. floor. If it is warm enough, you should sit on the lovely balcony.
My favorite there is herbal tea named Tea for Bad Weather, and it is served in a teapot with an additional cookie. But of course, you should find your favorite drink.
