A pleasant stroll through Tivoli Park from the centre of Ljubljana brings you to the vicinity of Union brewery. But behold, this article is not about beer, but about good vegetarian lunch. It doesn't matter whether you are a vegetarian or an omnivore, this self-service restaurant, run by local Hare Krishna community, is just great.
There is different soup every day and always a great choice of salad. Along the quite big selection of veggies, you can have some seeds and various seasoning options. Usually, there are three options of main dishes, a few side dishes and things like Indian chips and vegetable patties. If you have a sweet tooth you shouldn't be disappointed, as there are always a few desserts. And I love that they do sometimes Indian, a dessert that's a bit spicy, and sometimes they even do traditional Slovenian dessert.
After taking the food, they weigh it, and you pay accordingly. In case you are travelling with a dog, pets are welcome here. Dober tek!
