LP rock'n'roll heaven
Good music shops are always hard to find, and Spin Vinyl is one of those kinds. The name says it all: it is vinyl heaven. A little shop situated between Ristanc and Tojeto has an enormous archive of vinyl discs from the early ages of Rock'n'Roll. It has practically everything from the early 60s and 70s pop, rock, funk, soul, jazz, alternative, hard & heavy rhythms, reggae, ska. Broadening your music knowledge you should definitely browse through LPs of early Yugoslavian punk rock groups like Buldogi, Termiti, Pankrti, Grupa 92, Urbana Gerila Radnička Kontrola and many more pop-like records. In the store you can get also CDs, badges, posters, books... It's definitely enough to browse through all afternoon and find something for your taste.
The dealers are kind, willing to help and fluent in English (an advantage for you Non-Slovenians). I visit them only from time to time, to browse through the second-hand material. Sometimes you might find some nice gems, like early records of EKV (Ekaterina Velika) renowned Serbian rock band or Begnagrad, early Slovenian attempt of blending Eastern European folk and complex progressive rock elements. They even sell records of young, recently established Slovenian bands, like multi instrumental chamber group Salonski. You can get yourself excited by checking their website first.
