In 2010, Pierre, the only "Maître fromager" in Luxembourg at that time, opened a cheese dairy. It was an immediate success, and people knew quickly where to find the best cheese in Luxembourg. Due to its success, together with his friend Thomas, who is also passionate about cheese, they renovated the place, installed a real kitchen, got the terrace a lot bigger, and also enlarged the menu. During the covid crisis, things got more difficult and Pierre decided to give the business completely over to Thomas.
In the right corner of the restaurant, Thomas still runs the cheese dairy (with more than 80 farmhouse or artisanal cheeses), some delicious fresh bread, and a large offer of wines.
I lov going there and sharing a huge cheese plate with some friends, having a glass of good red wine - you will even find a new Luxembourgish pinot noir "Petite Fleur des Rochers" with the picture of the owner's dog on the label.
If you are really hungry, you should begin with a cheese board to share, continue with the Cheese Bacon Burger Beef with truffle cheese (with the best fries in town) and finish with the Salted butter caramel speculoos cheesecake, or simply try their delicious Raclette with 4 cheeses!
