My wife is vegetarian and that's how she usually cooks at home (completely without meat and eggs) - it turns out I'm almost vegetarian too (and I don't complain, I love vegetarian/vegan food), so we always look for these alternatives. Here in Luxembourg, there's this little Indian restaurant - simple, homemade, tasty and cheap (by Luxembourg standards!)
The menu is quite varied, but if you are in a bit of a hurry, they serve the dish of the day (plat du jour) which is more affordable and usually consists of a small portion of salad, lentils or chickpeas with thick and spicy broth and a bowl of very fluffy basmati rice. It is well served and delicious. You can take it home or eat at the restaurant, but I'll tell you that at lunchtime it's a little crowded.
If you are a little sensitive to spicy food, ask for the lowest level (which is still relatively strong), because they are Indians, of course they love an intense flavor.
Nirvana is a great place to take that break while enjoying the city of Luxembourg, as it is located in the traditional Gare District, one of the most touristic places in the city and close to the La Passarelle bridge, where it has an incredible view of the Valley de La Petrusse.
This is one of those countless places in Luxembourg that show the country's cultural and gastronomic diversity, one of the main reasons that I chose to live here.
