This is another little café I found by coincidence. One of these days, after a run on Ribban, we were looking for a new location, just a short walk away, and there it was-- Café Fridhem. It’s not very big, I would actually say it's perfectly cosy for a breakfast or brunch with a friend or two. They have a bakery on-site, so I know my favourite kanelbulle is always fresh. And the tea selection of teas and coffees doesn’t disappoint, either.
As Sweden is a healthy eating country, apart from tasty sweetness you can also get a normal sandwich and a salad there – and as I’m not a salad person I cannot tell you anything about the quality of that, but based on the rest of what they offer, it’s pretty good. Once you see those sugar-coated buns sprinkled with chocolate bits, you just sit down, get your teeth in it and savour the moment.
