Among many forms of entertainment, one of the best is video games. And after a long time (I'd say nearly 10 years or even more), a new arcade-type spot has opened its doors.
Arena is a modern arcade with play stations that include the latest releases of the gaming world as well as all the platforms available to play on, in a cool black and orange room. There are about 20 PCs and 15 screens to play games on consoles, along with all the equipment you might need for an incredible playing session: headphones, comfy chairs and a super powerful Internet connection (gamers will understand how important and special that is!).
I found this place because it's a treasure half-hidden in plain sight. It occupies a space in a cinema and it's glowing walls draw a lot of curiosity. The rental time works by the hour and you're charged by time and number of controllers, making it a great spot to either pass the time or improve (more like shatter, really hahahaha jk!) your relationships with a match of Super Smash, Mario Kart or Mario Party.
Arena also hosts gaming tournaments of games such as Halo or Injustice, and since I'm not that good to join in, watching the competition unfold on the huge top screen while people cheer and support the gamers is an awesome weekend experience.
