In Mexico, every region of the country has it's own local culture. This means that in every place you will find different music, different handicrafts and, of course, different - but always delicious - food. That is why in Mexico City we have so many restaurants specialized in food from other parts of the country: Puebla, Sonora, Yucatán, and, as you have probably guessed, Oaxaca.
Oaxaca Aquí is a little restaurant in Santa María la Ribera. Regarding the menu... Well, I am no impartial judge: I love mole negro so much that every time I visit this place it is impossible for me to try any other thing. Tejate is also definitely a must. It is a traditional drink made from corn and cocoa and mamey seeds. Really refreshing.
In case you need even more reasons to visit this place, Oaxaca Aquí is located right in the middle of a privileged neighborhood where you will find two great museums (Geology and Chopo), the beautiful Kiosko Morisco, the splendid Biblioteca Vasconcelos and the alternative Tianguis Cultural el Chopo (only on Saturdays).
