There's something incredibly comforting in Italian cuisine, and Stuffa delivers deliciousness in a plate every time.Â
I knew Stuffa when my boyfriend took me there for a romantic dinner after some time together, and it has since become a favorite for us. From the moment you step in, the Italian influence fills the air, with columns in the main hall to make it look like a courtyard and the faint smell of charcoal from the stone oven.Â
Stuffa's main stars are the stone ovens where they cook a wide range of food, from white bread, to pizza and charcoaled veggies, resulting in dishes full of flavor.
You know how "less is more" is an everlasting saying? Well, Stuffa delivers that experience through the bread served before starting your meal: a warm loaf that has spent some time inside the stone oven and is served with a side of butter and a roasted garlic. Although maybe not for the lighthearted (or a first date) this simple garlic and butter combo is a real treat.
Our favorite dish at Stuffa is the duck ravioli, one of the few dishes that interestingly doesn't have a description on the menu. The ravioli are served with a Dijon mustard and cream sauce. The flavor is somewhat reminiscent of bechamel but with a sweet and spicy touch from the mustard seeds.Â
The service is really good and through the decoration and the masterpieces served, you are bound to have a great time!
