Some people have already started calling Giambellino GiamBerlino after Bicchierino Bar has opened due to the Berlinese vibes it emanates. Even though I'm not a fan of those far flung comparisons to which city in the world another spot reminds you of, I have to say the non-milanese vibes there are pretty intense, in a positive way.
After many years in Milan you understand how it's not easy to find a bar that is high quality but not poche, easy going but quite organised, with fresh interiors but also good music, proper wine selection and dishes up to standard.
Well, Bicchierino Bar is that and more, as it colourfully offers all of that with staff always smiling and ready to joke with you. The atmosphere is pretty chill until 8 pm, with kids and families having an aperitivo, but it gets wild and crowded pretty quickly, almost every day of the week. Check their IG page as they often organise brunches and visiting chefs offer quite the experience.
This bar only opened at the end of 2023 but it has quickly become a staple after work rendez-vous spot for a quite diverse group of both district aficionados and other people from all around the city.
