Straf is somehow a peculiar place. Don't be deceived by the location, only 40m from the Duomo. It's one of the coolest spots in town. Its slick design is super minimalistic yet very impressive. On any evening of the week, Straf fills up during the aperitivo hours with fashionistas and trendy peeps that come to sip cocktails, enjoy great aperitivo and one of Milan's best sides - a cool crowd.
The bar is on a pedestrian street overlooking the Duomo and it's in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the city. Try to grab one of the ''benches'' outside on a warm evening and enjoy the view of people passing by with the Duomo in the background.
They are very good when it comes to music, DJs are regularly spinning tracks. Check out their website for the program. During the Fashion weeks, Straf is one of my favourite spots to get a couple of drinks, listen to great music and enjoy the hip crowd.
Tip - The most famous shopping jewel of Milan, La Rinascente, is literally in front of Straf, so if you feel like some major upscale shopping, you can easily do it there before or during your drink(s).
